Are you job searching? Are you currently on an employability programme and would like some technology advice?
TAVIP (The Technology Association of Visually Impaired People) are delighted to be able to offer a number of free training places for young people (18+) with a vision impairment who are actively looking for work.
TAVIP’s Technology for Work course provides up to 5 hours of free 1:1 training in using screen reader software or magnification tools with Microsoft Outlook, using other Microsoft programmes such as Word and Powerpoint, using digital calling systems such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams as well as the use and navigation of web browsers and phone applications.
The course is particularly beneficial to those who:
- Have good keyboard skills
- Are on or have completed a help into work or employment programme covering CVs, interviews and job searching.
