As a big thank you to our avid readers and supporters of the VICTA Student Portal throughout 2024, we are running a competition! Courtesy of the British Wireless For The Blind Fund, 2 of you could be in with the chance of winning an Amazon Echo Show!
We have 2 Amazon Echo Shows up for grabs, and it’s easy to enter. You just need to follow two simple steps:
1. Comment on one blog post on the VICTA Student Portal
From gardening to football, the Student Portal has lots of stories to interest you. Maybe you’re a gamer who can share your ideas on Ben’s blog, or a dancer who can relate to Grace’s dance story. Just comment on the post you like the most!
2. Send us an email at students@victa.org.uk telling us your name, age and which post you commented on
You have until 8th December to post your comments and email us. Winners will be contacted on 9th December and your prize will be posted out to you in time for Christmas!
Competition Terms and Conditions
- The competition is open to young people aged 10 to 29 years who are registered or registerable blind or partially sighted. Please note, if we have not previously seen confirmation of this, we may ask for confirmation in the form of a registration document or letter confirming your visual acuity.
- UK residents only.
- There will be two winners of an Amazon Echo Show which will be sent to them by post.
- Winners will be chosen at random from all the entries after the closing date.
- One prize per entrant.
- The competition closes on Sunday 8 December at 5pm and winners will be contacted on Monday 9 December.
- By entering the competition you agree to your name being displayed if you are announced as a winner on VICTA websites and social media channels.
